Division for Substance Abuse Policy

The Division for Substance Abuse Policy works to improve and expand the delivery of substance abuse education, prevention and treatment services throughout the state by working with multiple state agencies and organizations.

The Division oversees the distribution of state money allocated to the Arizona Parents Commission, which is funded from the Drug Treatment and Education Fund.  It also administers the Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant (SPFSIG), Co-Occuring Disorder State Incentive Grant (COSIG) and Access to Recovery Grant (ATR).  The Division staffs Arizona's Parents Commission on Drug Education and Prevention, the Prisoner Reentry Task Force and the Arizona Substance Abuse Partnership and its subcommittees.
