| Arizona’s Underage Drinking Prevention Committee Receives Award |
| |
The Arizona Underage Drinking Prevention Committee was the recipient of the State Agency Governor’s Award at the 2006 “Making A Difference Together” law enforcement appreciation dinner, sponsored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving Arizona and the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The award was presented to the committee by Dan Levy, the Governor’s advisor for victim rights.
“This group of dedicated individuals from the prevention, education, enforcement and treatment sectors have diligently worked to assess the problems of underage drinking, developed relationships with coalitions who are addressing underage drinking, and have planned a statewide initiative to address underage drinking,” said Dan Levy in presenting the award to Holly Orozco, the Senior Advisor in the Division For Substance Abuse Policy, on behalf of Arizona’s Underage Drinking Prevention Committee. |
