|
David Barnhouse has over 25 years of child welfare experience. His background includes Child Protective Services Intake/Investigations; provision of case management services for children in foster care, group homes, independent living programs, residential and detention facilities; and coordination of adoptions. Mr. Barnhouse has served as a Child Protective Services Unit Supervisor, Executive Staff Assistant to Arizona’s Statewide Child Protective Services Program Administrator, manager and policy specialist for Arizona’s Statewide Independent Living Program, and manager of Arizona’s Child Welfare Federal Programs Policy and Program Development Unit for the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Division of Children Youth and Families.
Since 2003, David has facilitated the Child Protective Services Recruitment and Retention Committee, Case Management Training Committee and the Dully Adjudicated Youth Committee that was included in Governor Napolitano’s Action Plan for Reform of Arizona’s Child Protective Services.
In January 2007, David assumed the duties as Deputy Director of Administration in the Governor’s Office for Children, Youth and Families |
