| Grants |
The Governor's Office for Children, Youth and Families (GOCYF) has a responsibility for distributing approximately $20 Million in state and federal funds each year. Public and private sector organizations that address one or more of the issues identified by GOCYF can apply for these funds. Grants are then awarded through a formal application process.

| Children - View Grant Opportunities |
| Safe & Drug Free Schools |
Funds Programs for youth that prevent: violence in and around schools and the illegal use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, and that foster a safe and drug free learning environment that supports academic achievement.

| Juvenile Accountability Block Grants |
Provides states and local units of government with funds to encourage the development of juvenile justice policies and procedures, and programs that promote juvenile accountability for criminal behavior.

| Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Act |
Provides funds for the creation of programs that support the core requirements of the JJDP Act. Targets areas that are considered significant challenges to the juvenile justice system and focuses on reducing risks and enhancing protective factors to prevent youth from entering the juvenile justice system.

| Children’s Justice Act Grant |
Promotes proper handling of child abuse cases, particularly cases of child abuse and exploitation, to limit additional trauma to the child.

| Child Abuse License Plate Grant Program |
This program is a partnership between GOCYF and the Arizona Republic Charities and its funding partners. The goal of this program is to raise funds for primary child abuse prevention – stopping child abuse before it occurs.

| AmeriCorps State Grant |
AmeriCorps provides grants to public and nonprofit organizations who sponsor and participate in service programs across the country. Grants help these groups recruit, train and place AmeriCorps members where they can help communities meet needs in education, public safety, health, and the environment.

|
Designed to support the expansion and enhancement of methamphetamine treatment and recovery services via use of drug courts.

The Arizona Parents Commission funds programs and initiatives dedicated to enhancing parental involvement and increasing education about the serious risks and public health problems caused by substance abuse.

| Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant |
Funds coalitions to prevent combat substance abuse in communities throughout Arizona. Used to build a comprehensive system that will target state and federal prevention funds for communities where they will have the greatest impact.

| Co-Occurring State Incentive Grant |
Used to improve delivery of services for adults and children in the justice system that have concurrent mental health and substance abuse issues.

Safe Havens Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange Grant
|
The Safe Havens: Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange Grant Program (Supervised Visitation Program) provides an opportunity for communities to support the supervised visitation and safe exchange of children in situations involving domestic violence, dating violence, child abuse, sexual assault, or stalking.

| STOP Violence Against Women Formula Grant |
Provides systematic and sustained focus on permanent systems change within our criminal justice system, while simultaneously developing a comprehensive network of domestic violence and sexual assault victim service advocates and programs throughout Arizona communities.

| Rural Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking Assistance Program |
Coordinates battered immigrant women teams with domestic violence victim service programs to educate and train professionals about the dangers present for immigrants in Arizona. This grant is an effort to raise community awareness about immigrant victimization and to prevent violence.

Supports proven strategies and creative ideas for the prevention of family violence, with a specific focus on children.
