| Governor’s 14th Annual National and Community Service Conference |

The Governor’s Office for Children, Youth and Families, Division for Community and Youth Development in collaboration with the Corporation for National and Community Service (federal funding agency) annually convenes the Governor’s National and Community Service Conference. The conference hosts 300 participants from all facets of national service in Arizona, including but not limited to, AmeriCorps National and State, VISTA, Tribal and Senior Corps programs.
The Governor’s 14th Annual National and Community Service Conference was a gathering of individuals who volunteer and provide vital human and environmental services to the State. Conference goals included:
- Provide a National and Community Service Conference to be attended by AmeriCorps*State, National Direct and Tribal programs, and the Governor’s Youth Commission, at a minimum.
- Provide national service members a forum at which they can receive leadership development training, network with other national service participants and develop skills by participating in breakout sessions.
- Feature national and local speakers
- Engage participants in service projects throughout the Flagstaff community.
