| This year the Governor’s Youth Commission goal is to motivate and inspire youth groups across Arizona to implement educational focused service learning projects on or around Global Youth Service Day. The following committees have been formed to work on this task. | |
| Training Day Committee: | |
The Training Day Committee is a select group of commissioners who’s objective is to organize a training day which will focus on topics relating to organizing and implementing service learning projects throughout the state. The committee’s tasks include selecting the venue, organizing workshops and using toolkits for media and follow-up reports . |

| The Youth Leadership Day Committee is a select group of commissioners who’s objective is to unite Arizona’s future leaders and to celebrate the year’s accomplishments in educational based service learning projects. The day will consist of engaging speakers and workshops and will be open to the public. | |
