This is an ad-hoc committee created to plan and coordinate Youth Leadership Day.

Youth Leadership Day is a yearly event sponsored by the Governor’s Youth Commission and held at the State Capitol in Phoenix. With the aim of promoting education and awareness of the public policy process, municipal youth councils from across Arizona are invited to attend.

Speakers from last year’s event included Governor Janet Napolitano, State Senator Leah Landrum Taylor, State Representative Pete Hershberger, and Byron Garrett. A variety of workshops were held, and attendees were encouraged to meet with their state legislators and inform them of their activities.
