This is an ad-hoc committee dedicated to advising the Governor and the Governor’s Division for Community and Youth Development on underage drinking prevention. Currently in the last year of a three year commitment, the Underage Drinking Policy Committee works in conjunction with the Arizona Parents Commission on Drug Education and Prevention. Responsibilities include attending all meetings in person or via conference call, preparing a policy presentation, participation in the Covert Underage Buyer (C.U.B) program through the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control, and the presentation of any findings when requested. Additionally, between 1 and 3 committee members must attend the State Underage Drinking Committee meetings on a monthly basis.
